Dial-in Series | T. Ben Fischer
At one of our stops along the the Ramp Up road tour, we sat down with Glitter Cat’s creator T. Ben Fischer and talked about the upcoming Glitter Cat Bootcamps in October and our sponsorship of the Glitter Barista Championship in 2020.
T. Ben Fischer founded Glitter Cat in 2018 with the idea of providing a barista competition training program for the underrepresented or marginalized community. These include, but aren’t limited, to womxn, LGBTQAI+, people with disabilities, and racial/ethnic minorities.
Glitter Cat Bootcamp is underway and Rancilio Specialty is a proud sponsor of the Glitter Barista Championship 2020!

Glitter Cat Bootcamps (GCB) are all-expenses paid coffee competition training programs focused on providing coaching to members of marginalized communities (LGBTQIA+, womxn, gender non-conforming, racial/ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities) for the United States Coffee Championships to increase representation and diversity on the national and international coffee competition stages. GCB fully sponsors trainees (travel, room, board, training, and materials) and utilizes seasoned and successful leaders in the coffee community to train and inspire new and returning competitors.
